UP CM Adityanath Asks Ministers to Visit Districts Under Their Charge at Regular Intervals

The Chief Minister said that during these visits, along with law and order, aspects of women’s safety, police patrolling, child sexual abuse, problems of businessmen, action against gangsters, traffic management, revenue collection efforts, etc. should be reviewed.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked state ministers to visit the districts under their charge at regular intervals.

Adityanath held a meeting with his cabinet colleagues here on Saturday.

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi has been made in-charge of Ayodhya and Azamgarh districts. Sugarcane Development Minister Laxmi Narayan Chowdhary has been given the responsibility of Aligarh and Etawah. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh has been made in-charge of Varanasi and Bareilly. Forest and Environment Minister Arun Kumar Saxena has been allotted Bulandshahr district. He will be in charge of these districts for one year.

Adityanath said that after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state, a positive message was given to the people through circle tours of the group of ministers with the spirit of “Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar”.

Adityanath said that the ministers in charge of the districts should be updated about the situation in their areas and should visit the areas at regular intervals.

He also directed the ministers to interact directly with the public during their district visits.

The Chief Minister said that during these visits, along with law and order, aspects of women’s safety, police patrolling, child sexual abuse, businessmen’s problems, action against gangsters, traffic management, revenue collection efforts, etc. should be reviewed.

He said that if there is an aspirational development block in any district, the concerned minister should constantly review the situation.

Adityanath said, “Today the whole country is celebrating Millet Year under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

He told that a dinner of coarse grain dishes was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday.

Adityanath said that similarly all ministers should organize such dinners for public representatives and intellectuals in their respective areas, people should be made aware of the importance of coarse grains.

He said that the Global Investors Summit will be organized from February 10 to February 12 and all the districts of the state will be linked to the main event.

This will be the first time that all 75 districts of the state will be invested together. The doors of immense possibilities will open for all the districts.
