The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that many areas of Uttar Pradesh will receive thunderstorms with moderate-intensity rain and strong winds within the next two hours on Saturday.
The areas that could receive rainfall are – Yamunanagar, Saharanpur, Gangoh, Deoband, Muzaffarnagar, Kandhla, Khatauli, Sakoti Tanda, Hastinapur, Baraut, and Daurala in Uttar Pradesh.
The IMD also said that partly cloudy sky, thundershowers and light showers are very likely to occur over Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurugram areas in the next two days.
The Met Office has forecast scattered/moderate rain and thundershowers over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh during the next four days. It also said that isolated rain is likely to occur over Uttarakhand, North Punjab, North Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan during the next two to three days.
