UP Board Authorities To Train Teachers From March 12 For Evaluation Of Examination

The Uttar Pradesh Board has announced that the evaluation of the exam will begin from March 18, 2023. For the same, 1,43,933 examinees have been shortlisted by the UP Board. These shortlisted teachers will be trained in their regional offices before evaluation. Notification for one day training session for teachers has been issued. Training will be held in Meerut on March 12, Bareilly on March 13, Gorakhpur on March 14, Prayagraj on March 15 and Varanasi on March 16. After this, from March 18, teachers will start checking the copies of about 3.19 crore students.

The Uttar Pradesh government has established 258 test-checking centers in the state. The shortlisted teachers will be asked to visit these centers daily to evaluate the copies of the students. Moreover, as mentioned in the notification, it is for the first time that teachers will be trained for the evaluation of the exam. The one-day training session will consist of audio-video training modules for the guidance of teachers. Each examination evaluation center will have a principal and a vice principal who will supervise the teachers who mark the examination papers. Trainers will also receive an instruction manual. Students with excellent handwriting got extra marks from UPMSP last year.

Apart from Principal and Vice Principal, the regional office of UP Board will supervise the examination center. The paper evaluation is usually completed by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education in 12-15 days. In 2022 the evaluation process started on 23rd April and ended on 5th May. UP Board had released the class 10 and 12 results on June 18 last year. Students can expect their UP Board results for 2023 by May 10, when the paper evaluation is over.
