UP assembly elections 2022: PM Modi-Amit Shah will take charge of BJP campaign in November

New Delhi: With Uttar Pradesh Elections 2022 approaching, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will be the BJP’s star campaigners for the polls. The saffron party has decided that the prime minister will hold 4 mega rallies to influence the voters.

Not only political rallies, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also set to launch or inaugurate state and central projects worth over Rs 1 lakh crore in Uttar Pradesh in November. Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the electoral state five times in the month of November.

PM Modi will inaugurate the Purvanchal Expressway worth Rs 42,000 crore on 16 November. Here the PM will also hold a huge public meeting. He had laid the foundation stone of the project in July 2018, a year after the Yogi Adityanath government came to power in Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister will further inaugurate the Jewar International Airport in Noida on November 25, which is likely to be operational by 2024.

PM Modi’s visit to Jhansi to mark the birth anniversary of Rani Lakshmi Bai on November 19 is also on the cards, which will be part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ program celebrating 75 years of India’s independence.

On the 193rd birth anniversary of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, PM Modi will unveil several development projects and attend a public meeting at Jhansi Fort.

Prime Minister Modi may also attend the annual DGP/IGP conference along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on November 20 or 21, organized by the Intelligence Bureau.

Home Minister Amit Shah will visit PM Modi’s ground Varanasi on November 12-13. He will also visit Azamgarh, Jaunpur and Basti to address rallies and meet voters.
