UP: 7 government doctors in DM’s ‘VIP Care’ for ailing cow; The official called it a ‘conspiracy’

At least seven veterinarians were deputed to treat the cow by the Uttar Pradesh district magistrate, according to a copy of an order that went viral on Sunday.

However, District Magistrate Apoorva Dubey called the incident a “conspiracy” and said that no such order was issued by him.

The order was issued on June 9 but was rescinded a day later by the acting Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO).

The DM said the CVO’s order was issued arbitrarily and when asked to do so, the officer quashed it.

The DM said that he has complained to the Veterinary Department against the officer, whose working style has not been good in the past.

He said that he had been warned several times in the past as well.

In order to take care of the animal a separate vet was deputed for each of the seven days of the week.
