Regarding her working style, she says, “From the very beginning of my career, I have been very certain about the parts or films that I want to do. So, I know very well what I do not want to do. And It gives me a lot of clarity.”
The War actress further explains that she prefers to wait for it instead of hurrying. “For me, the right way is to be patient and wait for the projects I want to do. a shamshera (Ranbir Kapoor Starrer) wouldn’t come to me if I don’t wait for it, same happens with Befikre. I am proud today that I have got the opportunity to work with such wonderful directors and actors in these wonderful projects.”
Having said that, Vani admits that it is not easy to maintain one’s patience in this area. She says, “It is very hard to isolate yourself and keep yourself patient while you wait. It is tough because you see everyone (your contemporaries) follow you and go ahead by getting involved in many projects. Still, I stand by my faith and belief.”
She says that she is waiting for the directors to come up with a script that she feels can carry it completely on her shoulders. “As long as you don’t get these people or these projects, I’ll be happy and grateful for the kind of work I get,” she signs off.
