Union Minister of Jal Shakti and Food Processing Prahlad Patel reached Raipur on the occasion of completion of 8 years of Modi government. Talking to the media at Raipur airport, Union Minister Prahlad Patel said that the population control law will come soon in the country.
After the formation of the Modi government, historic decisions were taken in the country. Such things were done which had not been done since independence till now. Because of the Modi government, the poor have got a lot without asking. On completion of 8 years, we will go among the people under the Good Governance Garib Kalyan Yojana and review the central schemes and take information from the people.
Patel also said that the food park being built in Chhattisgarh will also be thoroughly inspected. He said that the Food Park, which has been approved since 2014, has not yet been fully built. The reason behind this will also be reviewed. The construction of this food park is being done by the state government along with the center. The central government is monitoring the scheme.

The virtual inauguration of Indus Best Mega Food Park has been done on June 3, 2021 at village Bemta-Sarora, located in Tilda development block of Raipur district of Chhattisgarh. Indus Best Mega Food Park Private Limited is to be set up in 63.8 acres of land at a project cost of Rs.145.5 crore. The facilities created by the implementing agency at the Central Processing Center (CPC) of this Mega Food Park include Cold Storage – 3,745 MT, Pack House – 10 MT per hour, Dry Ware House – 12,000 MT, Boiler – 8 MT, Aseptic Pulping and Packaging Line – 6 MT/hr for Mango and 12 MT for Tomato, IQF and Deep Freeze 2MT/hr and 1500 MT, Food Testing Laboratory besides state-of-the-art capable infrastructure.
