Union Minister Paras threatens his life, seeks ‘Z plus’ security from Amit Shah

Lok Janshakti Party leader and Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras has written a letter to the Home Minister alleging that his life is at risk due to a “political conspiracy”. Amit Shah and urged that they should be given ‘Z+’ security, which is the highest level of security provided by the government to an individual. In his letter to Shah, Paras expressed concern over the security provided to him and cited his hectic engagements as a minister and leader of his party. He also referred to the wrangling within his party over the change of leadership.

Hajipur had long been the pocket borough of Ram Vilas Paswan, when he fielded his brother to contest from there after he was ruled out of the Lok Sabha elections due to ill health.
