Earlier this month, Seema Haider, a Pakistani national, was arrested by the Noida Police in Greater Noida on charges of illegally entering India and staying here.

However, he was later released on bail by the court. After her release, Seema decided to convert to Hinduism and changed her surname.

Her motivation for coming to India was to be reunited with her partner, whom she had met during a game, and she brought along her four children.
