A Leeds judge sentences Jordan Parlour to 20 months in prison for Facebook posts aimed at inciting racial hatred and violence during recent riots

A judge in Leeds, northern England, on Friday jailed a 28-year-old man for 20 months after he admitted publishing Facebook posts that “intended to stir racial hatred” during the recent riots.

In the first case of its kind linked to the disorder across England, the judge sentenced Jordan Parlour for writing posts encouraging people to attack a hotel in the city housing asylum seekers and refugees.
