Candidates can apply for the UGC NET 2023 exam on the official website nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.nic.in till 5 pm on May 31.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon conclude the application process for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2023 June session. Candidates can apply for UGC NET 2023 exam on the official website nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.nic.in till May 31 by 5 pm. Those willing to appear in the UGC NET 2023 exam are advised to apply for it soon and not wait for the last day. Once the registration process is over, candidates will be able to make corrections in their application forms on June 2 and June 3.

The UGC National Eligibility Test is scheduled to be held from June 13 to June 22. Every year, the exam conducting body conducts UGC NET to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in Indian colleges and universities. , This year, NTA will conduct UGC NET June session in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in total 83 subjects.

Applicants will be able to get their Exam City Slip in the first week of June. While the admit card for UGC NET 2023 exam will be available from the second week of June.

UGC NET 2023: How to apply

Step 1: Visit the official page of UGC NET of NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘UGC NET 2023 June Session’ registration link.

Step 3: Then fill the asked application form, upload all the required documents and pay the exam fee.

Step 4: Check all the details mentioned in the form and click on submit.

Step 5: Download the confirmation page.

Step 6: Take a printout of UGC NET 2023 application form for future reference.

UGC NET 2023: Application Fee

General or unreserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 1,150. General-EWS/OBC-NCL category people have to pay Rs 600. While SC/ ST/ PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 325 and people belonging to the third gender category will have to pay Rs.325.

UGC NET exam is being administered by the agency since December 2018. The National Eligibility Test is conducted twice a year (first in June and second in December).
