Amid heavy Lok Sabha elections campaigning, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Friday took back a Mumbai local to home while he was returning from a rally. The leader travelled in the local train from Boisar to Bandra after a poll rally in Palghar.

Posting a video of himself seated inside a Mumbai local train along with his party leaders, Shiv Sena wrote on X, “Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party chief Uddhav Thackeray travels from Boisar to Bandra in Mumbai local train,” the party captioned the post.

In the video clip, the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra was observed talking to the Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders.

During the speech, Thackeray hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his “fake Shiv Sena” remark, and said his party was not like “your degree”.

He also vowed to scrap the Vadhavan port project in Palghar district, which he said is opposed by local fishermen.
