Udaipur murder case: Accused beaten up outside Jaipur court – View

The four accused involved in the Udaipur massacre were attacked by an angry mob in Jaipur, Rajasthan today. The mob, consisting mainly of lawyers, slapped and pushed the four accused in the Udaipur massacre. The policemen who were rescuing the accused somehow put them in the police van. The crows were heard shouting “Maro… Maru! (Kill them)”.

The four accused in the Kanhaiya Lal murder case were produced in a special NIA court in Jaipur today. The court sent him to 10-day judicial custody. The two main accused Riyaz and Ghaus Mohammad have been brought from Ajmer High Security Jail to Jaipur amidst tight security.

Initially he was taken to ATS Headquarters. The other two accused Mohsin and Asif, who were arrested on Thursday night, were already kept at the ATS headquarters.

Heavy police force was deployed in the court premises.

Four of the two accused had killed Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor, inside his shop last week. He had also video-recorded the incident and circulated it on social media.

In the video, Riyaz was seen attacking 47-year-old Kanhaiya Lal with a sharp-edged weapon while the other, Ghous, recorded the crime on his mobile phone. The victim had recently shared a social media post in support of Nupur Sharma. – Former BJP leader who made controversial remarks against Prophet Mohammad. Riyaz and Ghosh were arrested from Bhima in Rajsamand district.

Kanhaiya Lal was cremated in Udaipur on Wednesday in the presence of a large number of people who raised slogans demanding capital punishment to the accused. He was cremated amidst heavy police security.

The Rajasthan Police on Wednesday said the main accused involved in the murder of a tailor in Udaipur was in touch with Pakistan-based outfit Dawat-e-Islami and one of them had also gone to Karachi in Pakistan in 2014 to meet the outfit.
