In separate incidents, two Russian women were found dead in two consecutive days at their residence in a beach village in North Goa, police said on Saturday. A senior police officer told PTI that 24-year-old Alexandra Javi was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her rented house late on Thursday, while the body of her compatriot Ekaterina Titova, 34, was recovered from her apartment. “They were living at different places in Siolim village. No injury marks were found on his body, but we are probing both the cases from all angles.”
The official said that the investigation conducted so far has revealed that the two deceased women were not related to each other.
