Patna: The thieves escaped with an iron locker filled with cash and silver bowls of Rs 3 to 2.25 lakh from the bungalow located on the circular road of BJP’s Gaya. MLA Prem Kumar comes under the Secretariat police station area in the state capital.
The incident took place between July 13 and July 17 and an FIR was lodged in this regard on July 18, but the police kept the matter a secret.
Kumar’s assistant Shekhar Suman said the MLA was in his constituency along with his wife and son. Prem SagarHe was not even in the bungalow at the time of the incident.
“The locker was kept in his son’s room,” Suman said. The matter came to light on July 17 when the MLA’s son returned home.
