Twitter ‘Verification For Organisations’ Now Available Globally

New Delhi: Micro-blogging platform Twitter on Friday announced that its ‘Verification for Organizations’ service is now available globally. The platform tweeted from its ‘Twitter Verified’ account: “Starting today, verified organizations are available globally. We are now sending email invitations to approved organizations from the waiting list.”

It added, “Rather than relying on Twitter to determine which accounts to verify, organizations that sign up for Verified Organizations have full control over how to investigate and verify those accounts.” to which they belong.”

Accounts that are affiliated with the organization will receive an affiliate badge on their profile with the business’s logo, and will also be displayed on the organization’s Twitter profile showing their connection.

“All organizations are vetted before joining Verified Organizations,” the company said. The ‘Verification for Organizations’ service was earlier called ‘Blue for Business’.

Last week, Twitter CEO Elon Musk said that the micro-blogging platform will remove all legacy blue verified check marks for both individual users and organizations from April 1.
