Twitter rolls out new button for Apple iPhone users – Times of India

Twitter A new button has been rolled out that lets you search tweets from a particular handle. As of now, the button is only available on the iPhone, but the company is expected to release it for other platforms soon. iOS users with the updated Twitter application on their devices can now see a search icon next to the 3-dot menu in the top right corner of the screen.
The facility to search tweets of a particular account was already available on the platform. Each user can search for any tweet of a handle by typing “From:”. [Username] [Search Term]” in the search bar at the top of the page. The New button is just a shortcut to this feature when it shows results in a similar pattern.
The micro-blogging platform regularly tests and rolls out features on a single platform first. Last month, the company began expanding the downvote feature to more users. The company started the pilot of this feature in July this year. It was earlier available for limited users only on the iOS platform. This feature allows you to upvote or downvote tweet replies.
Twitter also rolled out a new feature this week that allows anyone to listen to Space Audio without having to sign in. The new feature lets hosts and listeners send a direct link to the Space Audio broadcast. Those who don’t have a Twitter account can listen to it on the web without even logging in. Although unaccounted listeners will not be able to participate, the feature will provide a wider reach to hosts.
Launched last year, Space allows users to have real-time audio conversations. Earlier, this feature was limited only to users with 600 or more followers, but now it is available to everyone.
