Every fitness enthusiast around the world is well aware that a proper workout session is incomplete if it does not include bouts of push-ups. And why not? After all, traditional-style push-ups are extremely beneficial in building your upper body strength. It helps in improving the triceps, pectoral muscles and shoulders. If they are done with proper build and endurance, push-ups can strengthen your lower back and core by engaging (stretching) the abdominal muscles.

If you want to build your strength fast then pushups are the best exercise for you. Those who follow an intense workout regime tend to attempt more than 300 pushups in a day. But even 50 to 100 push-ups are enough to maintain a good upper body if you’re not into an intense workout, if done properly. If you’re tired of doing the same old traditional push-ups and want to give it a more advanced twist, you’ve come to the right place.

To try this lying down in the regular push-up position and as you lower down, bend one leg out into the Spiderman position with your knees bent out to your hips. And then do push-ups. Do this with both your feet. It builds strength in your upper body, especially the triceps, forearms, deltoids and upper pecs.

This style of push-ups is a favorite of martial artists everywhere. They are similar to traditional push-ups, but what sets them apart is that they are performed on your knuckles, not your palms. They are perfect if you want to improve balance. It also strengthens your wrists.

Added to your fitness regime, these pushups will take your workout session to another level. Pseudo planch push-ups are more geared toward an advanced level because in traditional push-ups your fingers are pointed forward just below your chest, but in these intense push-ups, your hands will be pointing toward your feet and your fingers are pointing forward. Will be sitting under the torso. This extreme position makes your shoulders and biceps work harder.
