TVS Jupiter 110 Launches Today: Design, Specs, And More

TVS Jupiter: TVS Motor Company is planning to roll out the greatly expected 2024 Jupiter 110 on August 22. The teaser of this latest scooter early on social media has even increased the interest of fans and followers. Though the exact design was not revealed from the teaser, some major changes from the current model are evident. TVS has also released teaser images of many new features that can make the new Jupiter stand in a pretty good fighting position. It’s the first major update for Jupiter from the company since it was first launched over a decade ago, so from that perspective alone, should be quite significant for everyone concerned.

2024 Jupiter 110’s Sleek Design

The 2024 Jupiter 110 is going to come, and it’s going to be quite different in terms of design from its predecessor. As the teaser hinted, the new design is pretty notched up and stylish, the scooter gets an updated front apron with a light bar sweeping across the full width of this front apron. That said and interestingly, it integrates the turn indicators and creates a light bar look that is very sleek and unified. Also, the front tyre guard seems to be more aggressive in design flat and edgy.

This new design direction surely has to do with part of the youth appeal as well as part of the competition with the higher-selling model in the segment, the Honda Activa. Through innovative and different looks, TVS plans to retake the old one the darkness to define the new Jupiter from other competitors.

Expected New Features

TVS has also foretold several new features that could make the 2024 Jupiter 110 quite a bit of an attractive package. Among the features is the digital instrument cluster that bikers have now, which includes Bluetooth connectivity for their smartphones. This feature is very common on modern scooters and brings convenience and security to riders while allowing users access to incoming calls and message info, navigation, and other functions of the smartphone through the headset without operating the smartphone.

Among the expected features one would be an LED headlamp, as this would do more for night riding. Also, the tail lamp may be re-stylized to match the overall design of the scooter. Then there is the possibility that this new Jupiter model can be fitted with a USB charging point, so riders would always have a source of connectivity around them, something that is more and more of a necessity in this modern digital world.

The teaser also seems to indicate that a new version of the Jupiter will have a longer seat too, which most likely will be done with the intention of enhancing the comfort for both rider and pillion. This, probably, could be the main convincing factor for customers not willing to compromise on comfort for their daily commuting needs.

Engine And Performance

On the mechanical front, the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 will carry forward an engine from the current model. Most probably, it will be the 109.7 cc engine that propels the current model and delivers 7.7 bhp and 8.8 Nm of torque. While this engine has been more powerful and super refined until now, it is for sure that no manufacturer can resist making any kind of minor tweaks to enhance either the performance or fuel efficiency tendencies.

Now, the suspension setup is also expected to be the same, with telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear. The setup is tuned for a comfortable ride quality over all the possible uneven roads of major cities. The braking hardware also remains expected to be the same with drum brakes on both wheels, which is enough considering the practicality of scooters and their standard configuration.

Storage Capacity In New TVS Jupiter

There is going to be a major improvement in storage space with the new Jupiter 110. The scooter is expected to provide a more practical storage solution compared to its current model. For instance, in the new design, there might be a small storage compartment at the front, which could come in handy to store some items, say keys, wallets, or phones.

Moreover, the under-seat storage will rise although the value of the same has not yet been indicated. This should be of importance in attracting more customers, especially those who are in a quest for more storage for daily essentials or shopping bags.

The base price is assumed to be around ₹75,000, which keeps it competitive with rivals. There are going to be variants of the scooter, so consumers might decide for their choice that befits their needs, as well as residence.
