TV actor Anirudh Dave discharged from hospital after fighting COVID-19 for 55 days

TV actor Anirudh Dave, who has been fighting COVID for several weeks, has now been discharged from the hospital. In an emotional social media post, the actor confirmed that he is on his way home from the hospital after successfully defeating coronavirus. Taking to his Twitter handle, he shared a picture in which he is seen posing for a group photo with the entire staff of the hospital. Sharing the post, he wrote, “After 55 days such an emotional moment I got discharged from Viva Hospital. Feeling loved. Thank you all.. No oxygen.. Now breathing my own life. I… #Thank you.”

Anirudh along with his father Vitin Kumar Dave, sister Paridhi and brother-in-law Prakash Sharma left Bhopal by road on Friday afternoon. Clad in white kurta pyjama, Anirudh looked healthy and hearty and fans would be delighted to see the actor on his way home from the hospital. The actor was admitted to a hospital in Bhopal in a critical condition after he tested positive for COVID. Anirudh’s condition was very critical initially and remained in ICU for several days.

Several pictures of him with the hospital staff are going viral on the internet.

On leaving the hospital, the hospital staff gave him a warm farewell. An visibly emotional Anirudh thanked all of them saying, ‘This is a new life, and I will never forget this paragraph.


Anirudh Dave has featured in popular TV shows including ‘Patiala Babes’, ‘Woh Rahe Wali Mahalon Ki’, ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ and others.

Anirudh also acted in Bollywood films, including ‘Teri Sang’, ‘Shorgul’, ‘Pranam’ and others. He will next be seen starring in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Bell Bottom’ where Dave will play the role of Captain Sameer Mehra.
