Rajeev Banerjee is yet to receive a “ghar wapsi” sign from TMC, but has started playing openly for TMC. Today, he said, ‘BJP has not fielded a candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections knowing that they will be defeated. Similarly, he should not have fielded a candidate in Bhabnipur also. It is not right to field a candidate against the person who won with 213 seats. I know Mamata Banerjee Will win in Bhawanipur with a thumping majority.

Banerjee also supported Babul Supriyo and said, “I support what Babul has said. The kind of campaigning and whatever was done during the assembly elections was not right. He was also targeting Suvendu Adhikari.

Banerjee was the person who went to Delhi on a chartered flight and took the BJP flag from Amit Shah.

He lost from his own seat in Domjur and after that he started showing his differences with the party. After Mukul Roy, ‘Ghar Wapsi’ sources say that he started trying for re-entry.

First of all, he wrote on social media that the way BJP is still campaigning against an elected government in West Bengal is not right and the technique of propaganda is wrong.

Although TMC is in no hurry to withdraw the turncoat, sources confirm to News18 that talks are on and Rajiv believes he may be back soon.

On the other hand, the BJP has not kept Rajiv in any organizational meeting and they are considering almost throwing him out.
