TSRTC will send legal notice to actor Allu Arjun, Rapido for ‘abusive public transport’

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will serve legal notice to actor Allu Arjun and bike taxi app Rapido in connection with an advertisement released on YouTube defaming the state’s public transport.

TSRTC director VC Sajjanar confirmed to the media that notices would be served to Rapido and Allu Arjun for the YouTube advertisement.

“We have no personal interest in sending a legal notice to anyone. We are compelled to send a notice to the actor and bike taxi app Rapido for spoiling public transport and showing it in bad light. TSRTC will not tolerate this,” said Sajjanar.

Sajjanar said, “Private bike talkie firm Rapido recently released an advertisement showing TSRTC in a bad light. They are promoting their product by branding their competitors product as bad. This is not good business ethics. Is.”

The director of TSRTC further said that before becoming a part of any advertisement the actors should also check what they are advertising and not defame others. “RTC is in the service of the common man. We are serving the poor. Actors should think twice before being a part of such advertisements as they can influence a large number of public opinion.”

“In a notice sent to bike-taxi firm Rapido, we have asked them to immediately withdraw the advertisement from all the platforms. We hope that the company will understand our sentiments and remove the advertisement. If they don’t then we will proceed as per the law of the land,” added TSRTC

Actor Allu Arjun is branding Rapido in the controversial ad. In the video, the actor can be seen showing a crowded RTC bus to the youth and telling them that these buses take more time to reach their destination. He also asks the youth in the video to use Rapido instead of using RTC buses.
