Truecaller: Truecaller adds new features for Android users: Video caller ID, call recording and makes this ‘paid feature’ free – Times of India

Truecaller Is releasing a new update for its app called the . is called trucker version 12, The version brings in new features and a redesigned user interface. Currently, the company has rolled out this update for Android smartphone users in India. Here are the new features announced by the company.
video caller id
Video Caller ID allows users to record a short video that plays automatically when you call your friends and family. Apart from recording selfie videos, users can also set up video caller ID using one of the built-in templates.
call recording
With Call Recording, users can record all incoming and outgoing calls. All recordings are stored locally on the phone. This feature was till now available for paid users, but now it will be available for all users who have smartphones running Android 5.0 or higher.
call announce
With Call Announce, users can know who is calling without looking at their phone. Truecaller will read the caller’s name even if the contact is not stored in your phone book. Call Announce will be available for Premium and Gold customers only.
ghost call
With the Ghost Call feature, users can set any name, number and photo to make it look like the user is getting a call from that person. Ghost call only. will be available for trucker premium and Gold Subscriber.
Truecaller Premium subscription costs Rs 179 for three months, Rs 339 for six months and Rs 529 for one year. Truecaller Gold subscription costs Rs 2,500 per year.
Truecaller is one of the most popular platforms for verifying contacts and blocking unwanted communication. The platform claims to have over 300 million users globally. Earlier this year, the company added group voice calling, smart SMS and inbox cleaner features based on user feedback.
