The new app comes with all the features that Truecaller offers including Call Alert, Call Reason, Full-Screen Caller ID, Inbox Cleaner, Smart. SMS, even more. new and redesigned Truecaller The app (Version 12) comes with a redesigned interface, a call recording feature, support for 46 languages, a ghost call feature and call announce. “Power-packed features will be rolled out gradually for all Android users India In the coming weeks and many more countries soon,” Truecaller said in the announcement. Rishi Jhunjhunwala, Chief Product Officer and Managing Director, Truecaller India, said that Truecaller will remain focused on user demands and meet them with innovative solutions and offerings. Jhunjhunwala said, “All these new features will allow people to enjoy greater control over their communication and provide a safe, fun and fulfilling experience at the same time.”
Truecaller version 12 will include a Video Caller ID feature that will allow users to set up a short video that plays automatically when friends and family are called. Users can select this video from a database within the app or record their own. This feature will be available for all Truecaller Android users. In addition, the new interface brings tabs for calls and SMS. “With the separate tab, you can now access all your SMS, Truecaller group chats and individual chats with just one tap,” the company said.
Call recording is another feature that Truecaller is introducing with version 12 of the app. The feature was initially available for premium customers but will soon be available to all Android users with the new app. This is an optional feature and users can start recording with a single tap in full-screen or pop up caller ID after the initial setup process.
There is also a Ghosh Call feature which helps users to get out of tough situations or play harmless pranks with friends. With Ghost Call, users can set any name, number and photo to make it appear as if they are getting a call from that person. Users can also choose any person from their contacts for this. Ghost Call will be available only for Truecaller Premium and Gold subscribers.
Finally, a new Call Announce feature will tell you the name or number of the caller. This works for saved contacts as well as numbers identified by Truecaller.
