Law Minister Kiren Rijiju had a narrow escape after a truck hit his car in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Police gave this information.
A loaded truck hit their car near Ramban on the Jammu-Srinagar highway, police said.
Police said, “While traveling from Jammu to Srinagar by road, the car of Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju met with a minor accident. No one was injured in the accident. The Hon’ble Minister was safely dropped at his destination.”
In the video of the incident, security personnel are seen running, opening the door of the minister’s black Scorpio and taking people out.
The pictures showed the minister coming out of the vehicle as a large number of security guards were present.

Earlier in the day, the minister tweeted saying that he could “enjoy the beautiful road throughout the journey” as he traveled from Jammu to Udhampur to attend a legal services camp.
