Trs Will Win 15 Seats In Polls: Sanjay | Hyderabad News – Times of India

HYDERABAD: On the eve of the third phase of his Praja Sangrama Padayatra, BJP Telangana chief Bandi Sanjay has said that the saffron party will take on chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s corruption legally.
Interacting with the media on Monday, he stated that many TRS leaders were behind Chikoti Praveen, who is being investigated by ED for organising casino jaunts. “All those leaders who used to spew venom against BJP are now silent. Whenever elections are held, TRS will win only 15 seats,” he predicted.
Sanjay claimed that TRS’ failures have now become BJP’s weapons. “I will expose TRS corruption during the padayatra. Those who want to join (BJP) should not do for posts, but to beat TRS,” the BJP state chief said.
Saying that BJP had sets its sights on the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, he maintained: “Why can’t we win. If BJP wins Hyderabad parliament seat, many problems of the country will be solved.”
The Karimnagar MP asserted that the party would determine who should contest from which constituency. “Top bosses will make all decisions,” he stated, referring to Eatala Rajnder’s interest in contesting against KCR from the Gajwel assembly constituency.
Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will flag-off Sanjay’s padayatra from Yadadri on Tuesday. Before embarking on the padayatra, the BJP state chief would offer prayers at Yadagirigutta. Union tourism minister G Kishan Reddy would also take part in the yatra.
In a related development, Union home minister Amit Shah, interacting with BJP Morchas, mentioned BJP Telangana’s activities. In Bihar, at the ongoing Morchas’ meeting, the home minister asked the party cadre to emulate Telangana unit’s plans and programmes implemented in all 119 assembly segments as well as the public outreach programmes. The home minister also informed them that Bandi Sanjay’s padayatra was a success.
A BJP team, including Eatala Rajender and national executive member DK Aruna, has reportedly left for Delhi with a list of names of leaders who could be poached from TRS and Congress. The leaders were scheduled to meet with BL Santosh, the national organising secretary. According to sources, there would be some clarity on Congress MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy’s joining and the subsequent by-election soon.
