Anupama is breaking her own record of audience week after week. Broadcast Audience Research Channel (BARC) has released the viewing patterns of Indian viewers between July 24 and 30. Here are the top five shows on Indian TV that week:
Anupama
Rajan Shahi’s drama show Anupama, which starred actors Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey in lead roles, broke its own record by achieving 4.0 impressions. The Star Plus show has topped the Television Rating Point (TRP) list, surpassing shows like Ghoom Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein and Imli.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
Ghoom Hai Kisi Ki Pyaar Mein finished second on the ratings chart with 3.3 impressions. The daily soap stars actor Neil Bhatt as Virat, Aishwarya Saharma as Pakhi and Ayesha Singh as Sai. Another star plus show.
Tamarind
Tamarind has secured the third position in the TRP list with the same number of impressions as last week’s 2.9. A new drama is all set to unfold in the lives of Imli, Malini and Aditya. The Star Plus show stars Sumbul Tauqeer, Mayuri Deshmukh and Gashmir Mahajani respectively.
Indian Idol 12
Indian Idol 12 Grand Finale will premiere on August 15 on Sony TV. The top 6 contestants are Mohd Danish, Shanmukhpriya, Pawandeep Rajan, Nihal Tauro, Arunita Kanjilal and Sayli Kamble. The singing reality show has earned 2.7 impressions.
Yeh Hai Chattein
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s spin-off Yeh Hai Chahatein has managed to keep the audience hooked for the past few weeks. Actors Abrar Kazi and Sargun Kaur’s show has garnered 2.6 impressions this week and is ranked fifth on the ratings chart.
