two former women officers Agartala Mahila Thana police had gone to her house without proper documents and wanted to interrogate her. She agreed to cooperate but told the police that the entire conversation should be videographed and her father-in-law would be present during the discussion. But the policemen did not agree and left immediately, Bhowmik told the media.
The MLA is known to be close to Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and top BJP leaders.
Bhowmik said Anindita is a physiotherapist at Tripura Medical College (TMC) and was suspended from service last year for alleged misconduct, which was completely false and fabricated.
