Now, as reported by Pinkvilla it has been exclusively revealed that the Aashiqui 3 team has finalized Triptii Dimri as the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan. A source closely associated with the project disclosed that the makers have chosen Triptii, the current national sensation, to portray the romantic interest opposite Kartik Aaryan. Triptii garnered widespread attention following the monumental success of Animal, and the filmmakers believe that her on-screen chemistry with Kartik Aaryan will be nothing short of electrifying. Discussions about this casting decision have been ongoing for a while, and the team has now officially secured Triptii as the female lead.
The upcoming Anurag Basu-directed ‘Aashiqui 3’ is set to commence filming in the first quarter of 2024, with additional cast members expected to be finalized soon. Notably, this marks Kartik Aaryan’s second venture into a franchise, following Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
