Trinamool accused of burning posters of CPI(M) candidates in Ward 121

As soon as the pre-votes come to the fore, the mercury of politics is rising. And with this, different wards of Kolkata are heating up. Kolkata is heating up with allegations of threatening to kill candidates and tearing posters. This time the poster of the CPI(M) candidate was torn down and thrown in the dustbin and burnt. And the finger of blame has been raised at the ground level. The CPM has made similar allegations in Ward 121 as well.

CPM candidate Ashish Mandal complained, “I went out for campaigning on Monday morning and saw posters, hoardings and hoardings in my name on the road. “Some have been thrown in the dustbin,” he said, adding that some were even set on fire.

However, Rupak Gangopadhyay, the Trinamool’s candidate from the area, refused to accept the charge of the CPM candidate. He said, “This morning Ashish Mandal informed me about it. However, he did not specify who was involved in the incident. If anyone is involved in our team, let them know and we will take action.”

By the way, Mamta Banerjee has issued a decree that the candidates should win with a huge majority. From Mamata Banerjee to Abhishek Banerjee, many grassroots leaders have warned of any disturbance or obstruction of voting. As a result, the Trinamool is claiming that no party person was involved in the incident.

However, sometimes ground factionalism comes to the fore in Behala ward. A month ago, miscreants opened fire at the house of Trinamool candidate Rupak Gangopadhyay. The factionalism of Trinamool came to the fore in that incident.
