About 50 people from both the communities will participate in this yatra. The purpose of the yatra is to establish brotherhood in the area. This journey has been allowed by the police administration.

This yatra will be taken out from the designated places in the presence of heavy police force. It will include 25-25 senior citizens from Muslim and Hindu communities. The Tiranga Yatra will start from Kushal Chowk in Jahangirpuri and pass through the Jama Masjid in front of where the stone pelting took place and end at Azad Chowk.
