Brazilian football stars Richardson and Vinicius Jr. were separated on Saturday after a brawl during a heated training session in Tokyo.
The two players almost clashed ahead of their side’s friendly with Japan, which is scheduled to be played on Monday. Veteran internationals Neymar and Dani Alves were among the players who brushed off the disagreement and it is not clear what caused the incident, Sky Sports reported.
Brazil is one of the favorite players to win this year World Preparing for the tournament by playing the Cup in Qatar and friendly in Asia this month. They beat South Korea 5-1 on Thursday – with Richardson scoring – and took on Japan on Monday.
The feud between the pair was filmed after Richardson congratulated Vinicius for winning the Champions League. Brazil scored a winner for Real Madrid in their 1-0 win over Liverpool in Paris last month.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar was pictured dragging Richardson by the neck in an attempt to bring matters under control. It is not said how the incident started, but it appears that the Everton attacker was found holding his shirt to the face of Champions League winner Vinicius Jr.
Eventually, things calmed down as the pair were taken to what were some really ugly scenes. Richardson is one of the most outspoken players in the Premier League and the 25-year-old also enjoys wooing people.
It is not clear whether the two are friends or not and if their exit ahead of the World Cup is a matter of concern.
