New Delhi: ‘Minnal Murali’ star Tovino Thomas got emotional when he met former Team India captain and Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni during a book launch in Kasaragod, Kerala.
In his Instagram post, Tovino said: “It was a great experience spending time with Captain Cool. The same personality we’ve seen on screen – the calm, composed, and effortless genius he is.”
“We had a great conversation and it was the distinctive ease with which he used to say the most thoughtful things. I feel really lucky to have had this opportunity. A great role model to all. More shine to you on your wonderful journey.” I wish.”
Tovino and Dhoni met at the Bekal resort in Kasaragod near the historic Bekal Fort, where Arvind Sami and Manisha Koirala’s film ‘Bombay’ was shot.
Dhoni and the Malayalam star were here for the release of the autobiography of noted technical educationist Professor KK Abdul Ghafoor. The Chennai Super Kings captain also presented a copy of the book ‘Najan Sakshi’ to the ‘Minnal Murali’ legend.
The fans of both the stars were overjoyed and many took to their social media handles to wish the duo. One of them said: “Oh my own superstar. Best wishes to him.” Another wrote, “Captain Cool with our very own superstar.”
Incidentally, in his latest film ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’, Tovino plays a triple role.
