Pawandeep Rajan wins Indian Idol 12
The winner of the music reality show ‘Indian Idol 12’ – Pawandeep Rajan – along with the first and second runner-up of the show, Arunita Kanjilal and Shanmukh Priya respectively, will be seen in a musical series directed by Raj Surani.
Being the creative producer and director of the musical series, Raj said, “When I shot the video with all the major contestants of Indian Idol, I loved the voices of Pavandeep, Arunita and Shanmukh Priya and I did a musical series with all three. Decided to make. Interesting avatar. The series will be shot in Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.”
Interestingly, while signing the trio a month back, they were not worried about who would be the winner of Indian Idol.
“I decided to go ahead with my music videos soon after the season was over. They are all great artists and have huge followers even before they even ventured into the music world. I really think all three are original Indian rockstars. today,” he said.
Arunita, the first runner-up of the show said, “I entered Indian Idol to learn and have a wonderful time. Raj sir is very kind and I want to make an impact with the songs that we are making.”
Shanmukha Priya said, “It was my childhood desire to be a part of Indian Idol. And during the show, we actually got a chance to face the film camera. We were pampered by Raj sir and team. They encouraged and inspired us. Done. I am really looking forward to our musical series now.”
Produced under the banner of Octopus Entertainment, the musical series will feature vocals by Pavandeep, Arunita and Shanmukh Priya, set to music by Dikshant Shaurya, Pawandeep Rajan and Ashish Kulkarni.
