Top studios T-Series and Reliance Entertainment together to invest Rs 1,000 crore in a slate of films

In one of the biggest collaborations of the Indian film industry, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have joined hands to produce more than 10 films together in various genres, including big budget tents as well as medium and small budgets. of content-rich movies. Bringing together two leading production houses with an investment of around Rs 1,000 crore, this massive collaboration will bring to the fore films of different genres, production scales, talents and music.

Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have worked together on the music marketing front for over 100 films. Now for the first time, the two studios will collaborate to produce multiple films, marking the beginning of a larger long-term relationship between the two organizations for content creation.

A wide range of films are in various stages of development. Along with three big budget blockbusters, the lineup also boasts of leading films featuring some of the country’s most coveted on-screen and off-screen talent. Other Tamil blockbusters in the pipeline are an action thriller, a mega historical biopic, a spy thriller, a courtroom drama, a satirical comedy, a romance drama and Hindi remakes of shocking true events.

T-Series is the largest music record label in India and one of the top successful film production companies. Reliance Entertainment is a leading media and entertainment company in the country with over 300 commercial and critically acclaimed films in its portfolio.

In recent years, Reliance Entertainment has roped in Rohit Shetty, Imtiaz Ali, Neeraj Pandey, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwani, Anurag Kashyap, Ribhu Dasgupta and S. He has made many hit films under his partnership with Shashikant.

A new slate of films will be produced over the next 24 to 36 months under the aegis of some of these partnerships and with other promising filmmakers like Pushkar and Gayatri, Vikramjit Singh, Mangesh Hadwale, Srijit Mukherjee and Sankalp Reddy. From next year (2022), at least four to five films will be releasing on the big screen across the world.
