In a major success, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh recently arrested Shakeel, the third associate of Al Qaeda terrorists from Lucknow. The terrorists were planning to carry out a series of bomb blasts in Lucknow and other densely populated cities on the occasion of Independence Day. On the other hand, in other news, a big relief to the central government employees and pensioners and their long-awaited dearness allowance and dearness relief will be restored soon. According to some reports, the employees are going to get a 3 per cent hike in DA in July. Meanwhile, at present, government employees and pensioners get 17 per cent DA as part of the salary.
