This film was the last film of an artist who lived every character in his films. We are talking about Irrfan Khan. Irfan came to Mumbai after completing his studies from the National School of Drama. Here he worked in many TV serials. Irfan’s first film was ‘Salaam Bombay’ in 1988. Irrfan got a small role in this film. So small that probably no one would have noticed who this slender boy is?

After this, he continued to do such roles in many films, but he did not get the stardom he deserved. The film ‘Haasil’ was released in 2003, followed by ‘Maqbool’. From here Irfan started getting fame. After that Irfan never looked back.

Irfan’s film came in 2012. The name was ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. In this film, Irfan played the role of a rugged dacoit. For this, Irrfan received the National Award for Best Actor. When Paan Singh Tomar, who has been disappointed with the system and picked up his gun, says that there are rebels in the ravine, dacoits meet in the Parliament… after that he spoke about his work.

His characters in Bollywood’s Piku, Hindi Medium and Hollywood’s ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, ‘Jurassic World’ impressed a lot. Irfan got fame after a long struggle. A ship weighing 100 tonnes was also washed away in the sea storm in Bangladesh.

In the year 1991, on the night of 29 April, the cyclone wreaked such havoc in Bangladesh that more than one lakh people died. Millions became homeless. This storm named 2B was so deadly that due to this waves 15 to 20 feet high started rising in the sea. The islands sank. The work of removing the dead bodies continued for 15 days. This storm is considered one of the most severe storms of the 20th century.

The magnitude of the storm can be gauged from the fact that a 100-tonne ship standing at Chittagong Port swayed and collided with the Karnaphuli river bridge, about 2 km away. The collision broke the ship into two pieces. Similarly, hundreds of boats and ships were damaged.

The maximum damage caused by the storm was in the Chittagong area. This is also the base of Bangladesh Air Force. About 40 aircraft including MiG-19 were standing here, but the storm caused so much damage that they were of no use.
