TNPSC Recruitment 2024: As per the official notice, the application correction window will remain open from tomorrow July 28

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications for direct recruitment to the posts in Combined Technical Services Examination (Non-Interview Posts). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may submit their applications via the official website, tnpsc.gov.in. It is to be noted that the last date to apply for the aforementioned posts is until August 24 at 11.59 pm.

As per the official notice, the application correction window will remain open from July 28 at 12.01 AM to July 30 at 11.59 PM. Under the recruitment drive, the commission is aiming to fill a total of 654 vacancies this year. Talking about the exam pattern, the CTS exam will consist of two papers, Paper I and II. Paper I will be conducted on October 26, while Paper II will take place from October 14 to October 23 (excluding October 19 and October 20).

TNPSC CTS exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit:

Candidates applying for the above-mentioned posts should have completed 21 years for all posts, except for the post of Foreman (Marine). For Foreman Marine, candidates need to have completed 18 years.

Education Qualification:

–– Agricultural Officer (Extension): A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture is required and candidates must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

–– Architectural Assistant/Planning Assistant: Must possess a Degree of Master of Town Planning or its equivalent or a degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture.

–– Assistant Curator (Archaeology): Must have a degree in Sanskrit with a knowledge of Dravidian languages and Ancient Indian History.

–– Foreman (Marine): A degree in Mechanical Engineering or post diploma in Diesel Traction issued by the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education and Training is required.

TNPSC CTS Exam 2024: How to Apply

Step 1: Go to the official TNPSC website at tnpsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Now check the “Apply Online” tab from the homepage.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Combined Technical Services Examination 2024.’

Step 4: Create an account and login with the generated credentials.

Step 5: Fill out the application process, attach the required documents and pay the required application fee.

Step 6: Once done, submit your application and save a copy of the same for future reference.

As per the official notice, candidates need to mention if they are currently employed under the Indian Union, State governments, Local Bodies, Universities, Quasi-Government Organisations, or Public Sector Units. Failure to upload or produce the ‘No Objection Certificate’ shall result in the rejection of candidature after due process.
