Coimbatore: A Tiger was found dead in Koothamundi North the green Sirumugai Forest Range in Coimbatore Forest Monday evening split
The carcass of the tiger was found by a team of frontline staff patrolling in Koothamandi North Beat. The team alerted District Forest Officer TK Ashok Kumar.
Ashok Kumar, Forest Veterinary Officer Sukumar and frontline staff went to the Reserve Forest on Tuesday. The DFO said that the postmortem of the dead body will be done.
