MumbaiBollywood actor Tiger Shroff has announced the release date of his much awaited film Heropanti 2. The action drama starring Tara Sutaria will hit the silver screens on April 29, 2022. Shroff made an announcement on social media, two days after the Maharashtra government confirmed that theaters in the states would reopen from October 22. The producers of Over 15 films including ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, ’83’ and ‘Ram Setu’ announced release dates as soon as Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray allowed theaters to operate from next month.
‘Heropanti 2’ release date out, new poster unveiled
The makers of the film have promised to entertain the audience and offer them the right Eid on Eid 2022. Tiger shared a new poster featuring Tara on his Instagram handle, along with the caption, “Happy to announce that our film Heropanti 2 will release on Eid 2022 in cinemas near you! Next Eid will be with you.”
‘Heropanti 2’ vs ‘Mayday’ on Eid 2021
Tiger Shroff is all set to lock horns with Ajay Devgn at the box office next year. ‘Heropanti 2’ will clash with ‘Mayday’ as both the films are releasing on the same date on April 29, 2022.
Yesterday, Devgn shared a post on social media to reveal the release date of ‘Mayday’. He wrote, “Finally, the news of theaters opening in October in Maharashtra is the long-awaited and spectacular. As promised earlier, the aviation-thriller drama And Me starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, produced and directed by me In Lead, will release on April 29, 2022.”
Directed by Ajay, ‘Mayday’ also stars Angira Dhar, Boman Irani and Akanksha Singh in pivotal roles.
‘Heropanti’ marked the Bollywood debut of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, who have now emerged as one of the most sought after stars in B-Town. Shroff will be seen romancing his ‘Student Of The Year 2’ co-star Tara in the second installment of ‘Heropanti’.
The cast and crew are currently busy shooting for ‘Heropanti 2’ in the United Kingdom.
