Ticketless passengers caught in Prayagraj Railway Division, fined 1.62 lakhs – Rail Hunt

Allahabad. In view of the Holi festival, the railway administration launched a raiding campaign in trains on Monday. In this, such people were identified who were traveling in trains without taking tickets, passengers carrying luggage without booking were caught. Railways also collected a fine of Rs 1.62 lakh from such passengers in a day. The campaign was carried out in Prayagraj as well as in Kanpur. Under the direction of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vipin Kumar Singh, the train number 12417 Prayagraj Express and 12802 Purushottam Express were checked.

During the raid, 228 people were found traveling without tickets. This campaign was run between Prayagraj to Kanpur. Intensive campaign was conducted under the leadership of Central Assistant Commercial Manager Dinesh Kumar. When the process of raiding trains started, passengers traveling without tickets started running here and there. There was panic among the passengers in the trains. After recovering the fine, the raiding team sent them for onward journey. Assistant Commercial Manager Dinesh Kumar, Chief Ticket Inspector Diwakar Shukla and others were present in the raiding team.
