Washington [US], Sep 17 (ANI): American rapper-actor Ti Harris and his wife Tiny Harris will not be charged with sexual assault in Los Angeles after a woman earlier this year allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted the couple in 2005. was accused of.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office declined to press charges against the couple, citing the expiration of the limits. The case falls outside the statute of 10 years of limitation period.
“In 2021, the complainant reported to the LAPD that she believed that in 2005, she was sexually assaulted by suspects whom she had met outside with friends,” the office said. The office said the statute of limitations expired in 2015.
In a statement to E! News, TI and Tiny’s attorney Sean Holly said, “Mr. and Mrs. Harris are pleased but not surprised by the district attorney’s decision to dismiss these baseless allegations. “Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production to gather more information,” the spokesperson said.
