Three terrorists killed, one policeman injured in two separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir

New Delhi: On Wednesday, security forces killed three terrorists during an encounter in Mirhama area of ​​Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The encounter started when security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Mirhama area of ​​Kulgam after receiving intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists.

As the forces were conducting searches, the terrorists opened fire on them and an encounter broke out.

Three terrorists were killed in retaliatory action by the security forces. PTI quoted an official as saying that the identity of the slain terrorists and their affiliation with the group is being ascertained.

In another incident, a policeman was injured during an encounter in Nowgam Shahabad area of ​​Dooru in Anantnag district. He was rushed to the hospital.
