Challenging America’s power, China has now started threatening the US directly. The US Department of Defense has issued a report claiming that Dragon has threatened America not to interfere in India-China relations.
The report said that China is showing aggressive attitude to strengthen its claim on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. The Pentagon has released a report in the US Congress titled ‘Military and Security Development Involving the People’s Republic of China’ here. The report said that the standoff in Ladakh was a Chinese ploy to stop the deepening US-India ties.

The report also said that the PLA has tightened its hold on the LAC after the border standoff in 2020. After the clash, China has laid a network of fiber optical network on the border. It is very useful in fast communication with the army.
Diplomatic methods do not work
China has prepared the Western Theater Command in its army only because of the possibility of a clash with India. Diplomatic methods do not seem to be working to end the deadlock between the countries. A big reason for this is that both India and China do not want to reduce the benefits available on the border.
