New Delhi. Indian Railways is one of the largest rail networks in the world. Millions of people travel by train every day. This is the reason why it is also called the lifeline of the country. Railways provides travel facility to almost all classes. Any person can travel by train according to his convenience, but if we see a common complaint of all the people in this, then it is the problem of dirt in the railway premises. The reason for which is also the people themselves. You must have seen that people often throw food wrappers or any garbage here and there in the railway premises without any hesitation. Actually, NGT i.e. National Green Tribunal has taken strict steps regarding this. If you do this too, then you need to be careful. Now the railways will take strict action against the people who spread dirt at the railway station. Not only this, a police case can be registered against you and you may also have to go to jail.

The National Green Tribunal has issued orders regarding the spread of dirt at the railway station. At the same time, IRCTC has sent these orders to all the station in-charges. That’s why you should avoid spreading dirt at the station. Always use dustbin to throw the reaper etc. At times, even these rappers get stuck in the wheels of passing trains. Due to which the risk of accident by jamming the wheel also increases.

Along with this, the NGT had recently issued an order to the railways to keep the station clean, after which the railways changed its rules. Under this, preparations have been made to send a case to the people who spread dirt on the platform and send them to jail. However, till now the person was released only after collecting the fine.

Actually, a separate flying squad has been formed to clean the dirt from the railway track. It will do surprise checking of railway stations from time to time. Along with this, the top officers of the zone have also been given strict instructions for inspection.
