A fairy tale romance like Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha is hard to find in today’s time. Both the actors, the couple have been together for almost a decade now and are ready to take the plunge. Over the years, the lovebirds have stood by each other through ups and downs and fans and friends have always rooted for their romance. According to the reports, the wait is finally over as the two are all set to tie the knot in Chandigarh today.
Being a staunch romantic and major Shah Rukh Khan fan, Rajkummar Rao has some special plans for his soon-to-be wife. A close friend of the couple told India Today that Rajkumar plans to present Patralekha something special. The actor has been writing letters to his girlfriend for many years, some of which he has never received. The prince wants to give them this letter on their wedding day. “The prince has a different way of romancing. Also, because he has to travel for shoots and is often not with him for long, he started writing. Now, as a wedding gift, he plans to give her these letters as a token of his love,” said the insider.
Neither Rajkumar nor Patralekha have confirmed the news of the wedding. However, a source close to him said, “It is going to be very close for Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha. They have invited only select guests from the film industry.”
Patralekha made her Bollywood debut with the film Citylights opposite Rajkumar. He has also acted in films like Love Games, Badnaam Gali and Nanu Ki Jaanu. Meanwhile, Rajkummar was last seen in Hum Do Hamare Do opposite Kriti Sanon. He then has Badhaai Do, Monica, O My Darling and Hit: The First Case in the pipeline.
