Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav on Tuesday entered into a huge controversy after he commented on the newly-constructed Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya stating that “the temple is bekaar (useless)”. Intensifying his attack on the BJP-led central government, the Samajwadi Party leader said the temples in our country are not built like this, adding that the “Ram temple has not been built according to Vaastu“.Speaking to News18, Yadav said, “I worship Lord Ram every day. Some people have done the patent on Ram Navmi. But, that Mandir (Ram Temple in Ayodhya) is bekaar (useless). It’s not how temples are built. The design and map of the temple is not according to vaastu.”
