A sense of emptiness has taken over our lives since Twenty-Twenty-One ended. The hit K-drama, starring Nam Joo-hyuk and Kim Tae-ri, became one of the most popular series nationwide, with fans so invested in knowing how it would end. Though fans are still divided over the ending, everyone agrees that they will miss the show. While fans look for ways to fill the void, TVN is introducing a new show that can help fans move beyond Twenty-Five Twenty-One. The channel is all set to release its new show Our Blues, which has filled the slot of Twenty-Twenty-One on the channel.
Our Blues stars an array of actors and it is one of the most anticipated series this summer. Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-ah, Kim Woo-bin and Han Ji-min, among others, have been roped in to play the lead characters in a show based on the fictional lives of the residents of Jeju Island. The teaser and trailer have been released giving a glimpse of the slice-of-life drama. The series will reportedly have 20 episodes.

In Our Blues, Lee Byung-hun plays Lee Dong-suk, who was born and raised on the island and sells trucks for a living. Shin Min-ah is making his return after the hit 2021 series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha With Our Blues and will be seen playing an outsider who comes to town. She brings with her a deep deep mystery that is bound to play a significant role in the storytelling.
Han Ji-min has been cast to play Lee Young-ok, a rookie diver who is biting marine life around which a sense of mystery revolves. Lastly, Kim Woo-bin will also make a much-anticipated return with the show, playing Captain Park Jung-joon, who falls in love with Lee Young-ok.
There will also be ARMY’s focus on our blues, the OST of BTS singer Jimin in the series. This is the first time the singer has lent his voice for the K-drama OST. According to Sompy, Our Blues will be aired on TVN at 9:10 pm KST. Like Twenty-Five Twenty-One, the show will be streamed on Netflix.
