This one is for all the burger lovers who are willing to spend any amount for a nutritious burger.

Chef Robert Jan de Veen of De Daltons Diner in Voorthuizen, Netherlands has recently created the world’s most expensive burger and is selling it for 5,000 euros, which is around ₹4.5 lakh and is called ‘The Golden Boy’.

He recently shared an interesting shot of the burger on Instagram and it left the netizens stunned. Take a look at this.

According to the diner’s official website, the use of ingredients like Beluga Caviar, King Crab, Spanish Palate Iberico, White Truffle and English Cheddar Cheese makes this burger interesting and expensive. If we go to the website, it also has a barbecue sauce, which is made with kopi luwak, one of the most expensive coffee beans in the world. In addition, the bun is made from Dom Pérignon Champagne dough and topped with a gold leaf.

According to media reports, the burger was sold to Netherlands-based business group Remia International and then eaten by Robert Willems, president of the Royal Dutch Food and Beverage Association. The amount collected from the sale was donated by Veen to an NGO.

In a statement, Wein mentioned that the idea of creating this burger came about because he was depressed and feeling bad seeing the suffering of the public and the dismal state of the restaurant industry.
