This company wants to make space travel ‘affordable’ – Times of India

Space tourism is certainly causing quite a stir. Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin and Richard Branson’s Virgin Atlantic have already announced their plans for space tourism. but space travel Really expensive and out of reach for the majority. However, according to a report of digital trends, a company is looking to make it relatively affordable.
the report says that space perspective has built and tested a luxury eight-seat pilot capsule. Called spacecraft neptune, the capsule is raised to the sky by a giant hydrogen-filled balloon. As per the report, the capsule is surrounded by a refreshment bar, seating chairs and windows.
However, there is a catch. The spaceship Neptune can only rise 20 miles above Earth—three times that of a long-distance traveller. Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic will provide a zero-gravity experience that allows passengers to float around the capsule. Space Perspective offers no such thing. What it offers is a long ride. Space Perspective’s ride will last six hours longer than Blue Origin’s, which lasts 10 minutes from launch to landing.
According to the report, passengers in the luxury capsule will get two hours of climbing, two hours to enjoy the views and then two hours to go back home.
The Spaceship Neptune ticket costs $ 1,25,000 (approximately Rs 92.5 lakh) while the Virgin Galactic ticket costs $ 4,50,000 (about Rs 3.3 crore).
Spaceship Neptune has already started selling tickets and the first flights will begin in 2024. However, according to the company, tickets for then are already sold out but are available for 2025 rides. The capsule will launch from the Space Coast Spaceport in Florida.
